Airfix is to re-release its 1/72 scale Curtiss P-40 with the markings of a single aircraft that was based at Wheeler Field on 7th December 1941 during the infamous raid on Pearl Harbour
The one set of markings feature a Curtiss P-40B Warhawk 41-13297 ‘284’ that survived the raid by the Japanese on Wheeler Field. It was in a hanger being repaired after a ground loop.
