NAMC YS-11 Re-Released

Hasegawa has re-released the NAMC YS-11 [Nihon Aircraft Manufacturing Corporation] in 1/144 scale with the livery of the first two prototypes

The first prototype performed its maiden flight on the 30th August 1962, quickly followed by the second on 28th December 1962. The kit was originally released in 1997 [Scalemates].

Wonder what happened to the 1/72 Bandai YS-11. That IMO was a great kit-I wish they'd reissue it!
