RESIN2Detail has posted on Facebook images of the test fitting of their 1/32 scale Pratt & Whitney R-2800 Radial (early version)
”I wanted to share some additional information and photos on the 1/32 R-2800 full kit (early version); Chad from facebook.com/flyingsmodels has been instrumental in helping out on the test fitting front and I've made some updates to the initial design in order to improve fit, resin drainage and ease of removal from the printer supports, based on his assessment and my own experience building it.
Accordingly, the crankcase is now hollow and the cylinders drop right into place without a fuss, including the integral push-rods. The cylinders are going to be printed on their own build plate to provide better spacing between them. My goal is to make this set not only very accurate and detailed, but also a positive build experience.
I built the entire kit in about 1-1/2 - 2 hours and then took some pictures. Note, I have done virtually no post-processing (other than sanding the mating surfaces for the exhaust manifold, magneto and carburetor) -- just glued pieces into place and added a black panel
line wash to bring out the detail.
Please stay tuned for a full build review from Chad @flyingsmodels
Hope you like”
