Erik Mombeeck has sent more details of the latest Luftwaffe Gallery volume, including news of a special model competition to mark the 10th anniversary of this excellent series.
Dear friends and fellow enthusiasts,
It is with very great pleasure that we are writing to inform you of the imminent publication - within 2 weeks - of the Lufwaffe Gallery # 6.
This issue has as its common thread « luck and misfortune »: be it in the first victory or the first loss, or even the first air-sea rescue of enemy aircrew and also the part played by superstition. Records of victory and the Luftwaffe claims procedure is also examined and commented on by experienced pilots from JG 1, JG 2 and JG 26. The careers and aircrafts of the great aces Wurmheller and Ubben are presented through the prism of rare photos and stunning profiles. The last article is devoted to Luftwaffe airfield and runway equipment: Tankers and Bowsers (Tankwagen).
If you have any interest in acquiring this volume, drop us a message to let us know and we'll get in touch as soon as the books arrive from the printer - no need to send any payment yet.

On the occasion of its 10th anniversary, Luftwaffe Gallery (LuGa) invites you to a great diorama competition. The subject is the representation of an airfield (or field airfield) used by the Luftwaffe during World War II, inspired by images published in the Luftwaffe Gallery series.
Free and open to all, this competition is divided into three categories according to the following scales: Cat. 1: 1/72, Cat. 2: 1/48 and Cat. 3: 1/32 (for which existing material in 1/35 can be used).
Great prizes. Details and rules on http://www.luftwaffe.be/diorama/
You are all welcome.
Please remember, when contacting retailers or manufacturers, to mention that you saw their products highlighted here - on AEROSCALE.
