Fireball Modelworks has been very busy lately. Joseph Osborne has started producing resin update sets for Hueys, in addition to his excellent decal sets.
Fireball's latest offering is three Aircraft Survivability Sets (ASE) designed for specific 1/72 and 1/48 scale models. These sets add specific update pieces such as the "toilet bowl" exhaust deflector, APR-39 antenna bases, anti wire-strike blades, inlet particle separator, and oil cooler and engine side panel heat shields. They will allow you to build an accurate, highly detailed late '70s to modern UH-1H / V Huey.

FMR-008
RESIN & PHOTOETCH UH-1H/V Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) Update
DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR THE 1/72 Italeri and ESCI HUEY KITS.
Joseph has also recently released a few sets for the venerable 1/32 Revell UH-1D/H model. These will allow you to build a modern UH-1H/V model with the same ASE pieces as above. Also, available is an excellent interior update set to build it as a MedEvac bird, along with a decal set to match. Next is an open stretcher set to allow you to build it as a MedEvac helo with either stretchers deployed, or with a load of patients. Lastly is a set of MedEvac of decals in all scales to complete all your Dust Off Huey models.

FMR-006
1/32 UH-1H/V MODERN MEDEVAC INTERIOR SET
FMR-006A
1/32 UH-1D/H/V 3-Piece Open Litter SET
NOTE: even though the above are listed as 1/32, with a little sanding and fitting, the parts will work with the Panda?Dragon 1/35 UH-1D/H (or UH-1N) models as well. I used parts from the ASE on my WSMR UH-1H SAR helo and they worked out great.
FMD-15
Flat Iron UH-1V MedEvac decals
Fireball also has a couple of interesting future releases as well. These include a decal sheet for colorful Hueys, which has a version for a US Army Dust Off Huey from Korea with yellow stripes on the fuselage to identify it. Also planned is a Sky Soldiers AH-1S demonstration team decal sheet.
As usual, great work form Fireball Modelworks. I can't wait to see what else Joseph has up his sleeves for the future. Keep up the great work.
