New MS 406 decals

Adalbertus has announced the release of new Techmod decals for the Morane-Saulnier 406 C1 decals.

Available in 1/32 and 1/48 scale, the new MS 406 sheet contains markings for 8 Armée de l'Air aircraft during the Battle of France, along with a set of vinyl canopy masks.

Both sheets are available now, direct from Adalbertus - sole distributors of Techmod Decals.

Who makes a good MS 406 in 1/48th or 1/32 ?

Hi Doug AZ Model make a 1/48 scale limited-run MS 406 series. See Eetu Tahvonen's detailed look at the Finnish version and my own quick look at the French version. Both Azur and Special Hobby produce 1/32 scale versions. You can see sprue shots of the Special Hobby kit over at Modelimex. All the best Rowan

As you might guess, these are all aircraft flown by Polish pilots (not necessarily in the Battle of France). You should be able to find them in either Polish Wings 2 published by Stratus (recently an English edition has appeared) or the new Mushroom publication Montpellier Fighter Squadron. Author of both is Bartlomiej Belcarcz who's PhD was on the Air War in France.
