Back East Graphics has now released their latest aircraft lithograph-a F/A-22 Raptor of the 43rd Fighter Squadron at Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida.
This is the fifth lithograph produced by Bob Guere of Back East Graphics and what a popular subject it is. One of our members just posted photos a similiar F/A-22 the other day and the accuracy of this lithograph looks spot-on.
The lithographs produced by Back East Graphics are printed on 100 lb., acid free, archive-quality matt cover stock. The artwork is created 100% digitally which allows an unparalleled level detail to be displayed on the lithographs.
Here's the text contained on the F/A-22 lithograph (unless you have superman like eyesight and can read it off the pic to the right):
"The F/A-22 Raptor is the world’s first stealthy air dominance fighter and is capable of multiple missions. Deadly and unseen at long range, unmatched at close-in dogfighting, and with superb, precision-strike ground attack capabilities, the F/A-22 will dominate the skies over any future battlefield. The Raptor achieves air dominance through the skillful blending of stealth technologies, supercruise engines, agility through thrust vectoring, and integrated avionics. Two Pratt & Whitney F119-PW-100 engines allow the Raptor to soar to uncontested heights and achieve dry-thrust speeds unheard of by today’s fighters. It’s main weapons bays carry either six radar-guided AIM-120 medium-range missiles or two AIM-120s and two GBU-32 Joint Direct Attack Munitions for ground attack. The F/A-22 also packs two heat-seeking AIM-9 short-range missiles, one in each of its side weapons bays. As a result, the Raptor can fly very high, very far, and very fast with little risk of detection or intercept and strike with near-impunity against both airborne and ground-based targets. The Raptor epitomizes the capabilities of First Look, First Shot, First Kill…."
