Hi Giacomo I do not think thats true .. of course: if it has a Hakenkreuz then it will probably sell, but just have a look here at Aeroscale .. I only say P-47 mania .. In general I would say WW2 as well as modern jets are major subjects for the modelling industry and there sure are some less covered topics .. but e.g. 1950s-60s and British subjects are pretty popular lately. And since Eduard and Roden are on the market WW1 is also well covered (speaking of 1/48 not as good as WW2 but most fighters can be bought). You can have almost everything in 1/72 (if the original is not too large) .. of course there is always that Fairy Fruitbat Mk.LDIXc re-engined version that you probably will never get as Bolivian captured version of the Grand Wacko war ... I have more models kits than I can build in my life time (and I have only a few hundred) . Also I am a Luftwaffe fan, but --- trying to be objective --- I do not think Lw is bullying the market .. e.g. there was a time when people complained about F-16, F-14 and Phantoms pestering the modeling world. IMO: SUUM CUIQUE !! and if you think you have a subject that should be more in focus just post it and some may like to discuss it with you. all the best Steffen

I recieved my copy of this last night and after having a quick look through it is looking very good. There are some beautifully built models in it (which I guess we should expect) and a good few hints and tips that I hope to put to use soon. The downside, and possibly an up side for some is that Luft46 subjects are included but are still nicely built models even if they're not to my taste. Models included are (and I'm going on my memory so forgive me if I miss some) Hasegawa 1/32 FW 190D-9 Hasegawa 1/48 BF 109E- 1/144 FW190D and Ju87 Revell 1/72 Seedler MDC 1/32 Arado 234 MDC & Revell He 163 Mistel Revell He 111 Focke Wulf Flitzer, Feltzer, Felcher....something like that Fujimi 1/48 BF 110 in Iraqi markings Revell 1/72 Horten Go 229 Think thats about it I'd reccommend it to people that are looking to re-create that illusive Luftwaffe finish and aren't scared of trying something new.
