TSR.2 Upgrade Sets

Modelimex have announced the release of two highly detailed resin upgrades for Airfix's 1/48 scale TSR.2.

Pavla Models have stepped in to fill the obvious voids left by the standard kit:

Set #48016 provides a complete new cockpit and costs 24.00 €

Set #48030 replaces the kit's main wheel well and costs 31.00 €

Pavla Models upgrades are available now from Modelimex - specialists in Eastern European short run kits.

Not sure 'release' is the correct word? Maybe 'announced' would be better as the website says no stock for up to two weeks...unless they have had a massive sales run in the last hour between my getting this news and me looking on their site..?

Hi Alex Welcome to Aeroscale - it's great to have you aboard. Actually, you've put your finger right on it - Petr, who runs Modelimex, has e-mailed me to say that the sets sold out straight away due to the overwhelming demand! But don't worry, he's already on the case to get fresh stock. They do look stunning, don't they! I'm going to order some myself ready to tackle the TSR.2 later in the year. All the best Rowan
