The new 1/32 scale Eurofighter Typhoon from Trumpeter is available since a few days. Here are some pictures of the content of the box as well as photos of a finished model.
Being not a specialist of modern aircraft, I will let the pictures speak for themselves...

Is this one of those, looks great in the box but turns out to be a disappointment kits Trumpeter is famous for? The fit of the wing halves looks suspect and all that overdone (IMO) rivert detail. UGH! The cockpit looks nice though.

Nice looking kit of an unusual looking fighter, however i for one can`t see the justification of the £100 GBP price tag that has here in the UK.Not when Revell have turned out there magnificent JU88 in the same scale for around £40 GBP,which seems to me to be similar in size but more detailled. Would have been better if it had been half the price !!

Checked it in my LHS, looks quite good, but it's too damn big, I really have nowhere to put it... maybe when I'll get a new house...

I have to agree with Danny I can't justify the £100 GBP price tag. Some areas look nice (cockpit, panel line and rivets) but like some Trumpeter kits there'll be a glut of AM stuff to improve or correct areas that'll push the price even higher. Camogirl and I looked at the 1/32 EE Lightning in our LHS today and wondered, if Aeries have released a corrected exhaust for the 1/72 Lightning, will this need it as well if they're a scale up or down of each other??? I Think I'll give this one a miss and stick with the Revell 1/48 offering that's in the stash.

Right now I'm for the Revell of Germany kit to come out. My LHS has the Big tiffie in stock for around $200 US, I want a modern Tiffie but for that price I'll wait for the other 1/32nd kit from RoG and go with best bang for the buck. I usually do Resin a bang seat for modern Aircraft so I already see extra cash going into this one. I will point out that Large Scale Planes has an preveiw and Test fit of this kit and it all goes together well, form the pics there. Any photo's news on the Lightning F.3? Havn't seen hide or hair about it in the states, I love the the look of it. I will definately appreciate anynews of the kit.

Hi Steve, The kit is already out (see Squadron for example). Pictures of the kit can be seen at the Trumpeter website (see here) Are you searching for a review? Here is one: IPMS USA review Jean-Luc

How can you tell all this from a few photos on the internet? As with many other kits being attacked for 'overdone rivet detail' the surface looks fine after a few coats of paint. Rather than being lambasted Trumpeter should be praised for even thinking of releasing all these great 1/32 aircraft for us to build. Don't blame Trumpeter for the pricing. The pricing is really irrelevent nowadays as you can nearly always get a much better deal on the Internet. I know where you can get the item for no more than 50 pounds including postage!! Your UK distributor is ripping you off. Not trying to hurt anyone's feelings but we should really wait to get a look at the actual model and not judge from a few pictures of a built model that has clearly been given a wash to emphasisi the rivets. Anyway, have a nice day everyone!!
