MMD Squadron have sent us some details about Encore Models' new 1/72 scale Me328. The kit is based on PM model’s injection-molded airframe with an extensive resin makeover, conjectural markings and a vacuform canopy for an improved view of the upgraded cockpit.
Encore Models (EC72101) Me 328A Pulsejet Fighter - 1:72 Scale - $19.99
Originally conceived as a low cost and simple escort aircraft, the parasite fighter variant of the Me 328 concept was to be towed or carried 'Mistel' style atop its host bomber. Injection-molded airframe has engraved panel lines, and the kit features a vacuform canopy plus extensive resin parts (full cockpit, Argus pulsejets, landing skid, takeoff trolley, wing generators and control surfaces). Decals for 2 conjectural Luftwaffe aircraft: prototype 'White 3' during test phase, 1943 and shark mouth emblazoned 'Yellow 4' of III./KG(J)54, 1944.
