Modelimex have published details A-Model's re-released Polikarpov I-17 - the in-line engined successor to the famous I-16. First flown in 1934, the I-17 was eventually cancelled depite its initial promise.
A-Model's kit #72003 is produced using limited run technology and, as you might expect, a bit of flash is visible here and there in Modelimex's photo of the sprues. There are no decals included - the original prototype being unmarked, but sporting a spectacular red & blue paint scheme. For anyone building the A-Model kit, a very useful construction article can be found HERE.
A-Model's I-17 costs just 8.50 € and will be available at Modelimex - specialists in Eastern European short run kits.
Please remember, when contacting retailers or manufacturers, to mention that you saw their products highlighted here - on AEROSCALE.
