The M/S Batory was a general passenger / cargo ship. Unfortunately the Mirage history has documentation on the Lublin R-XIII aircraft and not the ship.
The first American tanks which reach to the USSR in the frames of Lend-Lease Act were exactly light tanks of M3 “Stuart” family, and M3 “Lee” Mediums. In the opinion of Russians “Stuart” justly bear the name of the best light tank of the Second World War; just as British tankers fighting in the desert they forgave it weak armament and armour, and loved it for that it let them to “hang on the tail of running Germans and Italians”...
In the interwar period the R.W.D.-8 training- liaison aircraft was the most popular Polish aeroplane. Among the aeroplanes designed in Poland it was that type of aircraft which had been produced in the greatest number. The foredesign of the R.W.D.-8 aircraft was elaborated by the engineer Stanisław Wigura together with the engineers S. Rogalski and J. Drzewiecki from the Workshop of the Aeronautics Section of the Warsaw Technical University (later name of the workshop: Testing Aircraft Workshop) in the framework of the open competition launched in 1931 by the League of Anti-Aircraft and Anti-Tank Defence (Polish acronym: LOPiP)...
And as a large surprise to compliment the 1:48 Eduard Alb. 253 series Österreichische Flugzeug-Fabrik AG (Oeffag) Sworl Camouflage (WWI)
