Sergey Kosachev has sent us details of his latest Vector resin superdetailing and correction sets.
The release of ICM's mainstream Hs 126 almost undoubtedly dented sales of Vector's stunning resin kit, but Sergey has turned the situation to his advantage by releasing many of the exquisite parts from his own kit as the basis of new aftermarket upgrades for the ICM Hs 126B:
Set #VDS48-041 provides a complete new cockpit. One of the high points of the Vector resin Hs 126 is its superb cockpit, so it's great to be able to fit these details into the styrene model.
Set #VDS48-042 is an exterior set, including a multi-part BWM 323, a new cowling and spinner, exterior fuselage armour, new stabilizers and replacement control surfaces that have a subtly depicted fabric finish.
Set #VDS48-043 replaces the ICM canopy with new parts cast in clear resin, featuring the distinctive "curtain rail" sliding mechanism of the Hs 126B.
Sergey has already brought out several upgrades for Monogram's classic P-61 Black Widow. Now it's the turn of the engines to get the Vector treatment:
Set #VDS48-044 provides new engines, cowls and radiators, the new multi-part Pratt & Whitneys being little kits in their own right.
Set #VDS48-045 replaces the original Monogram propellers and spinners.
