Kinetic have released a rather tasty looking 1/48 F-16A block 20 dressed up in grey tiger stripes for the TIGER MEET 2009. Included with this release is a PE sheet, a turned pitot tube and oh yes some pretty spectacular decals designed by DACO products from Belgium and printed by Cartograf of Italy. There is quite a parts count, hopefully there are plenty of things to hang from the wings.

"Block 20 MLU" is a contradiction in terms, as these are two different variants and are not the same. Kinetic not doing their Viper homework again….

Cool ! Now I know nothing of jets , but these tiger meet ones are a real eye catcher . I just pick up Revells take on this aircraft in 72 scale . Not bad little kit I must say . Not sure I would want to get in 48 scale jets though . I have Revells F-15 E in 48 scale ..and boy that things huge compaired to my tiny WW 1 builds .

Having the F-14, the (Su-27 etc.) Flanker-family and Japanese F-15's as favourite aircraft does indeed bring space issues with it when building in 1/48... That said, they are probably the biggest regularly modelled jets around. F-16's for instance are tiny in comparison.
