Aber from Poland has released a bunch of turned brass barrels. Everything looks pretty impressive...
The sets has been published on the producer website. Here is what can be found:
1/32 scale
A32 108 - 6 turned U.S. cal .50 (12,7mm) Browning M2 barrels for P-51 Mustang
1:48 scale
A48 050 - barrels for 20 mm gun M61A1used in modern US Force aircrafts
A48 106 - Armament for Japanese fighter Mitsubishi A6M5 Zero
1:72 scale
A72 002 - C wing armament for British fighter Spitfire Mk.VIII to XVI
A72 003 - Armament for German fighter Me 109E-3 to G-4
A72 004 - Armament for German fighter Fw-190 A2-A6
A72 005 - Set of 8 turned cal .50 (12,7mm) U.S. Browning M2 barrels for P-47 Thunderbolt
A72 006 - Armament for German fighter Me 109G-5 to K-6
Each set enables you to exchange all the plastic armament with the metal parts. In larger scales some guns have to be built from a few parts including photo-etched frets. The details level is very impresive. Aber has even provided the gun barrels for the Spitfire .303 machine guns in 1/72 scale which are often ommited by other producers, another point for that.
