A week or so ago, Kenaz Raynor posted a review of one of the most interesting of the Post-War British Aircraft - The Westland Wyvern. Now Cutting Edge Modelworks have announced a sheet of decals to complement the Classic Airframes kit in 1/48th scale...
CED48275 - Westland Wyverns: Suez Stripes & 813 NAS & 831 NAS Markings Price $9.99
The sheet consists of markings for a total of three aircraft PLUS 'Sharkmouths' for the drop tanks carried by 813 NAS and a wide variety of additional stencil markings...
The Markings included in this sheet are as follows:
The black/yellow Suez War invasion stripes worn by 830 NAS during the Suez Crisis of 1956.
813 NAS ("Dennis the Menace")
831 NAS ("The Flook")
Notes: 'Dennis The Menace' is a character from a British children's comic...
'The Flook' was a comic strip character who appeared in a British Daily newspaper up until the 1970s...
This tradition of comic strip characters still exists today. In the last Gulf War, quite a number of popular (although less polite) characters found their way onto the nose of R.A.F. aircraft..
Neither Roundels nor Fin Flashes are included in this sheet...

Another link, this time for METEOR Productions who are marketing the sheet...
