New 1:48 An-2 on the way

Hobby Boss have sent us CAD pictures of their forthcoming An-2/An-2CX due for release soon.

This will be the first time the classic Eastern-block biplane has appeared in this scale as a mainstream kit. We'll bring you full details of Item #81705 as soon as we have them.

I wish the aftermarket decal companies would print some interesting decals for these Colts. The An-2 is used all over the world.

Already done: LINK 2 x camouflaged Croatian AF An-2s 2 x camouflaged Polish AF "Colts" 1 x black North Korean AF An-2 1 x East German AF "Colt" in green/light blue scheme 1 x East German AFsilver with blue cheatline ( former "Deutsche Lufthansa" a/c) available in around 2 weeks

I found this decal, for an An-2 of the Bosnian Serb Militia, unfortunately in 1/72 scale; if only Blue Rider would print some in 1/48. LINK
