Eduard have sent us the list of what they have up their sleeve for February. There are three kits planned - the exciting new 1/72 SPAD XII in a Dual Combo form and the diminutive 1/144 Me 262B. Continuing the successful WEEKEND series comes the Roland C.II.

The big news in the PE ranges surely has to be the major upgrade that Eduard are applying to the Trumpeter Wellington, with new interior and flaps sets hot on the heels of their earlier bomb-bay.

Along with the new kits and PE sets comes the news that the highly anticipated ROYAL CLASS Fw 190A-8 is on track for a March release, so watch out for announcements on the Eduard website, because this kit will undoubtedly sell out very quickly.
Looking through Eduard's plans for 2007 is almost daunting... there are just so many projects! The full list can be found in their January newsletter, but I've picked out some of the highlights that caught my eye.


Obviously, the big news this month must be the release of Eduard's upgraded version of AM's classic 1/48 scale Shturmovik, plus the return of Eduard's own Fw 190 A-8 after the initial production run sold out in record time. But there's masses more exciting stuff among the list of January releases.


After years of being on modellers' wants lists, the LaGG-3 is suddenly getting its turn in the limelight. Last year saw the release of South Front's short-run injected kit, but now we have a stunning new model from resin masters Vector.


Continuing Eduard's highly successful policy of giving a new lease of life to Accurate Miniatures kits, the magnificent 1/48 scale IL-2M Shturmovik has been re-boxed with new features to bring it up to the latest standards.
Following the phenomenal success of their Fw 190 series, it was a safe bet that Eduard would have something special up their sleeve for the anticipated Royal Class version. But few could have guessed how unique this kit would turn out to be!

It's no surprise that Eduard's October Newsletter is dominated by the release of their brand new 1/48 scale Focke-Wulf Fw 190! There's a detailed look at the impressive new kit, with an explanation of the company's rationale behind it and photos of the first built-up samples.
Marc Toillié, a French craftsman is currently developing a complete range of 1/48 airfield structures under the name Mark58. When I speak of complete range, I mean over 100 references!

I received confirmation from Hobby Link Japan last week that the new 1/48 scale Fine Molds Kawasaki Type 95 Ki-10 fighter which I'd pre-ordered is on the way!

The Ki-10-II (Allied code name "Perry") was the last Japanese biplane fighter. It was widely used by the Army Air Force and saw combat during the Japanese invasion of China and in clashes against Russian forces. Although retired from front-line service by the time the Pacific War broke out, the Ki-10 was brought back for patrol and reconnaissance duties over both the home islands and mainland China during the early days of the war, freeing up more modern types for combat service.
Wings Models, LLC have announced the re-release of the former Eagles Talon 1/48 scale Titan II-Gemini and Atlas D missile kits. Both kits are cast in moulds made from original Eagles Talon parts masters.
