Japan Airlines - Enomoto Special

As I eased into my chair with a cold Coke in hand, I looked up at the TV in time to catch a news report about baseball player Hideki “Godzilla” Matsui. Evidently Japan Airlines had put his face on several of their aircraft. His grimacing expression took up the entire side, top to bottom, on the nose of the airliner. My eyebrows twisted into a Spock like formation, Hmmm…What if I put Enomoto Kanako’s face on the side of a JAL aircraft? Which aircraft? Just then a mighty wind from the East blew the latest Squadron flyer into my face. I peeled it of my ugly mug and my eyes focused on an ad for the Revell of Germany Airbus 380. Bim Bom! A JAL Airbus 380 with Kanako on the side! I could create the art work using Expert’s Choice Decal Paper & Bare Metal Clear Decal Paper passed through a color printer and coated with Microscale’s Liquid Decal. The hard part was perusing all 4700 pictures I have of Kana-chan to find one appropriate for an airline image. Tough decisions!
