Well well! Eduard re-re-releases one of their best molds. The colour profiles are not earth shaking and appear to have been released in the two early issues, the profipack and the weekend versions. Still you can not go wrong with this kit. The parts inventory is quite nice and the decals are a must have to represent various issues of the Roland C.II. That's a Roman numeral two folks not the arabic #11. Several reviewers got that wrong in the past. Santa should be dropping one of these by my airfield before the 25th. So a bit of fun is expected.

I just finished an Eduard Roland for the twin seater campaign. It is a really good looking aircraft.

I like it sooo much, I ordered another one. It just arrived.

Spend the money Louis , it's worth it . I built the kit when it first came out years ago and was very pleased with it . The weekend kit is in the stash along with this one also have the bluemax kit but it doesn't add up to Eduards kit but it's still a very nice kit just needs lot's of work done to her .

Terri, I might do an online build when I get some of my current builds and build commitments out of the way. Those campaigns have a way of backing up on us.

That would be fantastic Carl . I really missing my kits right now , but that chopper is fun build . Yes the Campaigns have their way on doing that .

I have this exact kt on the bench at the moment around 3/4 done... very nice kit.

For a little background I have already built two of these from earlier issues. But I did not have a camera at the time so the interior shots were not done then. I will record this build with my digital camera from start. One really should have the Windsock Datafle on the subject for this build. It is most impressive.

These colours were standard on German machines from 1916 - spring 1917. Lilac or mauve did not show up until late summer early fall 1917. By then the Roland C.II was out of production.

Red just seems to be a very odd colour for the part of the camo . How effective this would have been ? Then again one done all in stripes , or most of it would be neat to build .
