Scary!!!!!!!!!!
Se5a
Pfalz
Sadly the 32 scale is not the theme for this year, the table will be full off early birds then.

I´ll havehurry up then with the Spad VIIc1 and the DH-2 when that kit hit the market

Cheers

Or a Albi , or a Neuport , or , or ,,,, , knowing myself that will change at least 200 times before i finaly deside witch it will be
Maybe there will be a own little stringbagtable in Motala this year , wouldn´t that be fun.

Hello again

Some more pictures of the ongoing progress
The skids under the lower wing finished

The alierons , elevators and the lowest "wing" with paint on them

Closeup photos are not good , reveals al the dust stucked in the paint
The last PE-pieces in place , ready for primer and preshading the fuselage

The last wing waiting to be glued in place

And there it is

Just some minor adjustments needed to be done to the preshading on the undersurface of the topwing and thene it is time to begin the paintjob
Exiting to se if this strangelooking thing can turn in to a normallooking airplane.

Comments and suggestions are welcome
More to come

Awesome ! Pre-shading is fantastic . it's like texture lozenge , it really adds life to the model .

Roger this is going to look brilliant judging by what you have done so far...quite inspiring.

One place you might look at altering the preshading a little though is where the tail bolts to the fuselage on the top, you show it dark theres a tube runs across the front of the tailplane that would I think show lighter.

Just a thought which no way detracts from your excellent work so far, and wont stop this looking superb once finished.

Thank´s Terri

Yes it looks quite promising , painted the blue undersides of the wings today and it´s not to bad , it might turn out to something good in the end , fingers crossed

Thank you Keith

You may have a point there , my intensions were to highlight the space betwene the tailplane and the fuselage . I´ll try to lighten the area up a bit and maybe do something about it with postshading if nesesary .

Regards

And a good thought it was.
I remade that area with less dark gray used and now after spraying the white collor it´s not more wisible then the rest of the preshading.

Thank´s

Hello

The progress is continuing and here are some more pictures
The pictures are not realy telling the truth , the preshading is not so visibel through the red as it looks here , i guess it is a reaction to the flash on the camera.

Time for decals

Looking very nice indeed. Very nice

Funny how the camera does that...made my preshading look kind of blotchy in the pics I took of my Alb1 DI where its smoother to the naked eye....there again I'm no photographer myself.

I'm looking forwards to seeing the kite in its finished glory

Keith.

Thank´s Lasse

Yes i will bring it to the museum this Sunday but not in a finished condition , there is just to little time left even if i would have lost my job , which i haven´t .
But i like the idea with no job , jobs interfere to much on the spaeretime

Hello again

A little bit more work has been done to the mashine , not much but it realy changes the look of the plane , the decals and the controlsurfases in place and some matt varnish added.

Maybe i will spray some very thinn lightgray over it all to smoothen it up a bit , then there is the rigging to be done and glue the propeller and the mashineguns in place , so i actually think i can see the finishingline in a distanse

Next time i post some pictures i hope it´s of the finished mashine.

Best regards

Hello again

So , now this one has come to an end , finaly it is finished. There has been moments when the bad temper has showen but mostly this have been a fun build , not the best kit i have built , like a Tamiya or so , but it feals god to sometimes test the modellingskills also :-)
It did not turn out perfectly but i´m quite satisfied with the result.
Here are some pictures of the finished little bird

Well , that´s all from the Fokkerfactory , now i will pay a visit to the Pfalzfactory for my next project

Hope you have enjoied this little story and thank´s everyone for help , suggestions and cheerings

Very impressiv model, Roger!

Only one thing: the ailerons or the joystick, one is in wrong position

Very nice looking Dr.I Roger.

But I think you should also do some post shading over the decals

Thank´s Öcsi

Yes even if it is a small airplane in this scale it is a bit impresive
About the controlles i have to say you are wrong here Öcsi . The stick is put to the left as well as the positions of the ailerons are witch would , if the plane was in the air ofcourse , lean the plan in to a leftturn.

Best regards
Rogga
