My autumn looks rather empty, so I'm in for First shots with a Bf 109 C or D. Hopefully my shark tooth decals will fit the bill, but I have to check the timeframe for them first.
For BoB I was aiming for Wicks sponged Bf 109 E, but now I saw that Jesper called dibs on that one, so I might have to look around a bit. There are three more choices on that sheet, if I see straight, so it shouldn't be too hard. As long as it's a yellow nose, I'm happy.

First shots, Hmmmmm, I seem to have found a Fiat CR 42 lurking in my closet. Would that work? I would not want the Italians to be without representation.

Quoted Text
As next year is the 70th anniversary of the Battles of France and Britain I propose a campaign the remember these events.
Rules suggested
Any aircraft used on active duty in the Air Force of any European nation between 10th May and 15th September 1940
Scale 1:144 to 1:24
Start 10th May 2010, Finish 15th September 2010 (any late comers must work at night only)
Enjoy the build and learn something new.

My plate is filling up but I really want an excuse later in the year to build that JU88 A4 that I keep pulling off the shelf and looking into only to put back. It looks terrific but It'll take a little time to get the most out of it.
So I guess I'm saying that I'll do a JU88 if its next year.
I really like the "first shots campaign " idea too.
There are a couple of Russian and Polish planes that spring to mind. The cool thing about that campaign is all the possibilities that exist to model something truly esoteric.

I'm new to the forum, but, I'll absolutely fight my way into a campaign with the "Battle of Britain" as a topic.
Most likely with either of the Hurricane Mk I or a JU87B-2 that I have in the closet.

I have signed and sealed. Will deliver in due time. It will be a 1:48 Bf 109 E from Hasegawa, but I'm not sure I will do Wicks. We'll see what other stuff on the box decal sheet I can confirm.
Summer 2010 is soooo far away, so it's good to be able to do a D from Poland thiss fall
