It looks everytime better Siggi. I just love the "extreme" weathering you've done. Once more I'm not a plane fan,but I cannot wait to see it finished!

You can Boarhead, it's as simple as rubbing a cloth dampened with white-spirit over an acrylic top-coat. Nowt but a trick.
Having said that, it's important to have the right props. I've learned that there is a critical difference between Tamiya's and ModelMaster's acrylics. I used Tamiya's on the IJN top-coat, and it rubbed off sweetly. I used ModelMaster's on the cowling and it dried like nail-varnish. If I can get the rest of it off without trashing the metalizer I'll re-do it with Tamiya.
