I too like what you did with the tail surfaces, looking really good. You know, you just might be able to market this on a limited basis. Pre-cut the parts, include the P.E. fret. Looking forward to more.

OK, Still more work to go but I have some progress to show on the engine. I had to go back and remake some parts for easier casting in resin - two steps forward, one back, but I'm happy with the parts now.
The cylinder...........
the rocker box (still incomplete)............
the engine block.............
resin copies................
and a test fit of a few cylinders................
I feel like I'm back on track with the build. More soon,
mark

Thanks Bob, Terri, Gregory, and Dave. I'm working feverishly on the engine to get a painted example ready to post. Half of my resin and casting materials arrived yesterday and the rest should come today or tomorrow so I'll be able to do resin copies of the fuselage this weekend.
thanks for checking in,
Mark

Thanks Louis and Dimitris. All of that meticulous drawing and measuring I did in the early stages of the development of the engine and photoetch sheet is paying off.
I finished the air intake on the other side of the engine.......
and here are my fingers in the picture so you can see the size of the engine.......
that just about does it for the engine block except for the prop shaft, next I'll be finishing the cylinders and other plumbing
Mark

Mark,
The engine block is very impressive work my friend. Is what we see carved from plastic or a casting from a master? At any rate that's outstanding details you've included.I can't wait to see the finished engine,it's going to be something to see.LOL but for the next update get a better Hand Model.
Highest Regards,
Gregory Jouette

Thanks Terri!
Gregory, those are casting from the masters, I'll actually be building two W.13's and am making the masters in a way that I can cast them and make as many copies as I need.

Mark,
You weren't joking at the end of your Halberstadt build when you wrote about something special! You are entering the Wojtek zone with this one! I am thoroughly enjoying this project.
