Looking Good so far Ron: The fuselage looks great. Yes, the rib tapes are a painstaking, but as Terri said, look cool when done. I am at the decaling stage. I have to take frequent breaks, or I will drive myself mad.

Looking forward to the next batch of pictures.

Ron, first welcome to the GB. Second tell us about your wood surface replication method. The fuselage looks great.

Stephen -
Thank you very much. It's good to take part in a great cause -- WNW GB.
The base coat is tan acrylic followed by artists burnt umber and burnt seinna oils mixed 50/50. It was applied with a fairly stiff brush to produce the wood grain effect.

Thank you for your kind remarks Des. This model has been and continues to be a real challenge to my limited patience and steadiness of hand. Ron

Hi Ron: Not only the LVG but the others are as much of a challenge. You are doing a fine job, hang in there, it will be worth it.

Cheers

Very well done overall! I have enjoyed watching your build process. Even though you may have been frustrated at times the end result is certainly worthwhile!

Greetings Ron just a word on the axle / spreader bar . Like the original make sure that its parallel with the wings. and that the thinest profile positions for the least wind resistance.
