Hi Gary

Thanks very much for your kind remarks on our builds and the thread as a whole.

... It also didn't appear from the thread that any fit issues were as tough to overcome as their earlier suite of FW190's either so thats a positive.

No - I certainly didn't hit any major obstacles. The fit of the exhaust mounts needs easing, and I also did some sanding around the wing gun bays and spars (something that Jean-Luc didn't need to do) - that was it.

All the best

Great model Rowan, congratulations. It's the first of your models I could watch on this forum while building. And it's finished! Go back to your workbench now and spend some time on the Spitfire or Halberstadt. ;P

Hi again

Thank you all for such kind remarks - I really appreciate them! (I'm sure there's an element of shock-value involved though, just to see a completed model in any thread I'm a part of! )

Next week I'm going to start sorting out a proper modelling workroom / study. Then I'll definitely get back to the Spit. Not the Halberstadt though (that was just a pet project) - the Supermarine Seagull takes priority, so you'll still have something for the Early Aviation Forum.

And then there are the other builds I'm planning for this year - a Bf 109 and Bf 110, and I think I've resisted the inevitable long enough... I'm going to try my hand at a Wingnut's Albatros or Pup.

All the best - and thanks again

Ditto from me, excellent builds and a concept I hope we see more often in the future.

Cheers Damian

I'm afraid the Campaign is too late for my '110 - I promised Dragon I'd build it this year. I'll have to think of something else for 2011.

All the best

Give me their details, I'll be having words with them. There are more important things afoot than review builds !!!

Seriously though, maybe a dual build of 110's as a lead-in to our Campaign will generate a bit more interest. I might let Dragon off the hook just this once.

Looking forward to your review and your teatment of the kit Rowan.

Cheers, D
