I'm in. That was the easy part.

Which Corsair to build??? Looks Like I've got 6 A-7's and 2 F4U's.

Hmmm.. I am in almost every other Campaign here and on Armorama so I may as well put my name down for this one as well..

1/32 Corsair F4U-4 (?) or A-7E... What to put aside for the Campaign..

I'm signed up. My aircraft are all 1/72 scale, so an F4U won't be too difficult, but between now and September, I'll research for some way to dress it up with mods or a nifty paint scheme.
thanks,
Sean.

Hey D, after that F-82, maybe you should try a Corsair like this one:

Vanzie has kindly designed a ribbon for this campaign

Is there any objections to using this?

Works for me. Then again the A-7D I'm building only comes with Navy decals, so what do I know?

As I have no idea how to create a ribbon, this one looks fine to me. I take it .....

Happy modelling

Nice ribbon, and I'm in. Not sure what I'll build, but it'll probably be some variant of the F4U in 1/72. Maybe a French F4U-7 or a Korean War AU-1.

I was wondering if the Corsair Campaign died or if there is still interest?

Good question. I'm starting to get all excited about pulling out the Hase A-7A's I've got stashed somewhere for this one.

Anyone else getting set to go on this one? It's getting close, and I only have 2 1/2 projects in front of me-- looking to start a third! (...and a half?)
Never did come up with anything better than the box art for myself. You can't beat the Jolly Roger flag of VF-17, so that's how I'll build my old 1/72 Humbrol-Heller F4U-1. ...although still kicking around the idea of scratchbuilding a field mod bomb rack...

It all depends on if I finish my current projects and life/work doesn't get too much in the way I may be in with a 1/72 A-7 by Hasegawa or Fujimi (can't remember which) I would also be using some AM decals by Capena for the USS Forrestal
