Still not sure what I'm going to build, but the available kits look very nice so I'm easy going.

Hi All.
Well everything is here ready for a start..
This build will be covering the Afterburner Decals Campaign and this campaign. I will be doing one of the Bentwood Agressor aircraft with this kit, but want to get at least three more kits as some of the camoflage schemes with the Tamiya kit are great to my eye. It would make a good diorama to have three of them in different camo on a flight line.
When does the fun start again??.....

I'm in. I'll be doing the flagship for the 510th "Buzzards" out of Aviano AB in Italy. My son works life support there for these guys. I got the markings and the kit (Tamiya) in hand. Just waiting for 1 April to roll around. "Q"

Oh I forgot, I also sourced the Tamiya PE detail set for my F-16. Hope 1 April doesn't turn out to be a bad omen..

I just came across this scheme... assuming it is not a Photoshop-job, I wonder how long it will take someone to take on this masking or decalling job (and no, I am NOT building this one for this campaign):
Jordanian F-16 (supposedly former Dutch/Belgian F-16 MLU)

Hmmm.. You know how if we are building a jet for the Afterburner Decals campaign and it is an F-16 we can cross enter it here....

What would happen if one started and finished one's project before this Campaign started?? Just hypothetically ...
Posted: Friday, March 18, 2011 - 07:32 PM UTC
Just hypothetically, forfeit all past campaign ribbons, disqualification from all present campaigns and total banishment from all future campaigns, just hypothetically !!!

Unfortunately I have had to withdraw from this campaign for the time being.
We have been given a provisional date to move into our new house, so I've put most of the modelling on the back burner to start some of the packing.
If there is still time once the bench has been relocated to the new house I may re-enrol.
