I just finished painting the 2nd of the 3 colors of the camo on the upper surfaces, I also painted the cone and the bomb. Everything is just painted no washes, varnishes or dirts have added yet.

On Saturday I'm leaving for 8 days vacation in South Crete

Looks good. Hadn't thought about the Airacobra in British colors. It'll be a bit different.

The kit construction has stopped for a couple of weeks (school starts in a week )

Update when I find time, that means in 3 or 5 days

Very nice build, I'm looking forward to seeing this finished. I haven't got this kit, yet, but I'm now on the lookout for it.

Thank you very much Mr. Mal

It's a great kit but I didn't like the plastic details in the cockpit (the p.e. in the kit update the cockpit detail very much, I have also thined the plastic pilot's seat with the multi-tool because it was too fat) (An' other think I didn't liked is the fit of fuselage-wings, a lot of filler, sanding & rescribing ) But the kit is overall great and I definetly recommend it

Hello again

The Dark Earth bands are too fat and they will be covered when I'll fade the surface with the airbrush (also the fading will cover any other mistake)

Nicely done, Nick! A very nice scheme- love the earth banding around the green. That's a big model- I'm too used to 1/48, I guess.

Cheers!

Your build looks great Nick, I can't wait to see some more pics with the base finished as well. My one is still in the stash, but I have brought it towards the top now that I've seen your build.

Thank you very much Mr. Damian

I wrote some cons about this kit but I forgot another one: The canopy fit is pretty bad
