I have had this kit on the 'must get one day' list for ages, but am yet to find one at a decent price.
As a builder of RAAF subjects this is the only way, that I know, to get a 1/32 RAAF Airacobra.
That is a fine build Nick. Could we have some photos of the completed model that are not quite so dark?

Nick, great build! I agree with Warren though- can you take some photos outside- doesn't matter if it is cloudy (in fact is usually helps)? Also check that your camera doesn't have any negative exposure compensation applied (if in doubt change it to fully automatic, and it should override any compensation setting). I would be great to see more of the detail that you've obviously spent a lot of time getting into this model.

Looks really nice mate! Excellent work on the cockpit. I really like the weathering you've done!
How do you like working with the Special Hobby plastic?
Do you plan to make a diorama with this great build?

Oh thank you very much Mr. Fredrik
I really like the plastic of S.H., it's a bit softer that tamiya one's but it's very nice
No, it's not going to be a diorama because it's already glued on wooden base with mirrors
Cheers Nick

Hi Nick,
I have followed your build from the beginning and am most impressed with your fit/ finish and attention to the small details.
You did a great job on this build and I'm looking forward to your next project.
Have a great day,
Mark
