I am about to start a WNW Albatros and want to build the aircraft "Stropp" which is hanging in the Natioanl Air and Space Museum In Washington D.C.
My question is what should the under wing color be as the instructions show a solid color but the a.c in the museum is mottled.
Any suggestions?

The two toned camouflage was on the aircraft when it left the factory. The 5 colour lozenge camouflage was on the replacement wings that were sent with the fuselage to the USA on a bond tour in late 1918.

Excellent James! Very nicely done! I can't tell you how wonderful it is to see WNW doing "Stropp" as she was in war! Even down to the yellow spinner and wheels! Everything about this kit is exciting. And you scored big for Aeroscale! You sir are a steely eyed modeler! My sincere thanks for this coupe!
