Okay, a small update. I havent got as much done as I would wish. Still I have made some headway on her, these small fiddly bits taking up the time and feeding copious sacrifices to the laminate flooring monster.
Reworking the rudder pedal assembly meant removing and remaking the actuator horn and shaft, the WNW part was quite basic, naturally as its fairly out of sight normally. but having to add the cables I made it out of a sandwich of .05 and .10 card so the cable eye sits between the two outer skins. Not that you can see or will be able to see clearly once she is built..but you know AMS strikes again I took this chance to add a little variation and twist the rudder bar, *damn its fragile, snapped ut in two when working on it and yes theres a few little details still to add.
Control column I have thinned the hand gril a little I have yet to scratch a throttle assembly and cables. I added the handle, I assume this was to adjust column height. I carved out the mounting between the main column and the *stabilising?* bar that connects to the lower tube, and twisted the rear mounting point, this sets the column off at an angle when in place. A few details to add, a little reworking to do still.
The prop is the kit part chopped and distressed, the ends and boss ar still to be finished.
The seat. I cut the base away so I could rework the cushion easier, I added plasticard to the bottom th thicken the cushion and drilled then worked the button locations, lots of sanding and carving and coats of liquid cement to smooth and check before the punched out buttons could be added. I bent the arms of the side/back outwards adding a lip out of strip and skinning the inner side with plasticard, sanded ti show the seamwork in the leather, I know it seems OTT but the seat is the first thing you see when you peek into the cockpit and WNWs offering is a little plain.
More soon.

Coming along very nicely Keith .
The little handle which you speak of is not for adjusting the heigth of the colume . It is a locking lever for the control column .

Thanks all, nice comments always inspire.
I got the bulkhead, rudder assembly with cables and the cockpit floor *underseat* in today. Real progress & I started scratching the throttle assy hoping to get the column finished tomorrow and get the fuselage together by the weekend though theres still lots and lots to do, engine bay, wing mountongs and all the odds and sods.

That seat assembly really turned out nice, as is everything else. A contest winner to be sure. Looking forward to more. Thanks for posting.

Keith,
You have outdone even yourself! Very true to scale and accurate. Even better than your last outstanding blue and green D.Va.
For the wire straps on the rudder bar, did you drill holes and insert the ends of the wires, or flush glue them on?
Also, that seat is outstanding, man! Much more like the real thing!
Keep up the great work!!!
Dave

the rudder cables are the thin springsteel wire that comes with the old DML 1/48th kits, a short length of .4 brass tube. I made the rudder contrl horn(not sure of the correct term) out of .5 .10 .5 plasticard sanwich, butt left the ends open. the wire I left sticking enough out the end of the tube to fit into this slot and used superglue gel to fix it into place. I had to slightly angle the bit sticking out to get the cable to sit right...the fun part will be the aerleron cables..gulp
Edited...I read again and realised what you meant...no I formed the straps out of stainless steel braided shower hose...its got lots of uses... I use it for making rigging eyelets too I shaped it turned the ends and cut them ...fitting them flush to answer your question..IGnore the above answers to pictures still untaken and unposted.
Thanks again for the kind comments Everyone.
