I've had a change of plans. Picked up an F-117 on Ebay for $6.00 so I'll go with that instead of the F-15......but she'll still wear the German splinter camo.

I'm sure I can find something in the WW 1 stash to hack and cut away at with a few bad words tossed in for good measure .
Not going to commit right now still a awhile to go and my building plan seems to change Lot's , but it does sound like fun and what a cool ribbon !
I'll check in once it gets closer to the starting date .....

Hello guys and gals!
I'm also in. I have an idea involving Turkish Air Force... like what if they bought F-15s and painted them in SEA camouflage like some of our Phantoms? I'll be using Hasegawa's old F-15E kit, since the kit actually depicts the initial F-15 which was a real F-15B and only a fake E

Count me in on this one, I have both an F-15e and the F-16 that I would do in RAAF markings. Maybe a Hi-Viz 3 tone roundel on the F-16, or something on that line. An SEA Lizard scheme on the F-15e with Low-Viz markings.

I like the idea of jet racers, but I think I will stay with my idea of an A-10 Warthog in BoB camo, from the Scottish Air Force

I have a Panda Models F-35 coming my way also (1/48).
So I may do that one in RAAF markings instead - I'll see what I think of the kit.

I'm still thinking about joining this campaign Sam. I know someone that would like me to build them one (more like the whole set ) of those Idolmaster jets. If I can find one a good price in time then I will join up.

Hi,
I have enlisted too!
Most propably I will try to build more than one kit, though.

I have perched upon a great plan, I am going to build a Fw 190A-8 engined by a M-82.(La-5 engine) Have seen the a/c pictured in Moscow. Brief history Soviets were testing out the a/c, engine went bang and replaced it with the M-82. Gave great performance though was nailed to the ground b the new jets coming on-line. Antares dose the conversion which I have built several of his in the past. Give those supposed experts a good thrashing when I take it to a contest.

Sounds like a good idea but the only flaw I can see is that this won't be allowed due to rule three.I have perched upon a great plan, I am going to build a Fw 190A-8 engined by a M-82.(La-5 engine) Have seen the a/c pictured in Moscow. and as you have said you have seen the a/c pictured in Moscow so surely this means that it existed in real life?3) Must be a what if idea, so it cannot be anything that has been done in real life or existed.

Checking the rules, am I correct to think that paper projects are allowed, If so I'll join with a Sukhoi T-4MS.
(Taken from Anigrand)
In 1967, the USAF launched a program of the B-1 Lancer supersonic-strategic bomber which has a blended wing body configuration, with variable-sweep wing and four turbofan engines. The USSR prompted to maintain the strategic balance. A requirement for the research and development of a new bomber was issued to three design bureaus which resulted as Myasishchev M-18, Sukhoi T-4MS and Tupolev 160. The Sukhoi T-4MS was based on an earlier T-4 Sotka supersonic bomber. It was codenamed "S-200" as it's take off weight approached 200 tons. In 1972, the three designs were presented to the Ministry of Aviation Industry. The T-4MS was chosen as the winner of the competition. However, the USSR Air Force felt that Sukhoi would be unable to handle the T-4MS development as the bureau was already involved many new fighters projects. Sukhoi was ordered to stop the development and transfer all the research works of the T-4MS to Tupolev bureau. Tupolev declined the offer and continued the "Article160" design with variable geometry wing which became the Tu-160 Blackjack bomber.

Cheers Sam, I look forward to building the T-4MS. I've placed the main parts together to get an idea of the size and this thing is big even in 1/144.

I'm in Sam not sure what I'm going to do yet but I've a 1/48 Bombcat that will look good in Russian Camo! Hmmmmm I'm not good at kit Bashing but I've got a Zwilling that might look good in an all metal American scheme? Or with a bit of Kiwi Flavour how about an F16 in RNZAF colours that might have been hadn't Auntie Helen shafted the air force! Okay that's it I'm doing an F16 in RNZAF colours I think Kiwi wings makes a decal set for it! All I need now is an F16 kit!
Cheers

Since my original idea did not fully fit into the parameters I found a Ta 183 lurking about in the dark recesses. Needed to get away from doing another paper Me262.

This what if idea got me thinking... Althogh I'd love an exotic camo, I think I' ll go for a diorama. Ta-183 Huckebein is going to be the star, and scetches are coming ready. Can I post any before the start date??

Sure you can post your ideas before the start date just don't start building anything until then

I'm using this kit for my fictional RAAF subject, in either the Hi {or low} -Viz markings, depending on what local AM decal sheet I can get {either for the RAAF Mirage or Phantom, for the Hi-Viz, or the Hornet sheet for the Low-Viz decals} with the SEA camo scheme.
