Well now at Omaka Fly-in WNW had on display test shots of;

Fokker D.VII - late model Fokker built airframe with BMW & Oigee optical sight.
Fokker E.II / III appears factory standard.
Sopwith Triplane - standard parent Co. production single Vickers gun.
DH 2 - mid production early two bladed prop, gravity tank under top wing. The fuselage sides has the option for stretched fabric effect.
FE.2b - completed in war paint.
DH 9a - completed in USMC war paint. From previously issued kit
RE 8 - completed in war paint. From previously issued kit.

And a flyer they were handing out also listed the Sopwith Snipe as being in development.

Administers sedatives to my already overstretched financial services
Seriously though 3 of those are must haves for me, time to sell the children.

Reading my byline below – I'm guessing It is no great secret which ones I'm really looking forward too... Wonder if there are any pics of that painted FE.2b anywhere...

I had a peek at the photos, Mikeal and they are pretty exciting. Like Keith I'm feeling mixed emotions. I swear my Pay Pal account is quivering and whining in some corner of the ether and may need some serious therapy!
There's enough subject matter on this list for years of great building and I can identify a full five "need, gotta have, can't wait " future releases at first glance. Worse, does anyone have a need for/want a previously released Sopwith Tripe?? It'll make for good spares I guess.
WNW is truly giving this hobby an unmatchable shot in the arm. Good on them he says as he sits down to re-map his finances!

Cheers All,
Lance

DVII a eindecker and a tripe....sighs...my I'll have to sell both kids and the wife.

Lance I have Roden's tripe 4/5ths finished believe me when I say I'ts the worst kit I've done of theirs, purely on a quality basis I was very dissapointed with the finish, the mods and corrections aside. I get the feeling it was rushed to try to get it out rapidly for whatever reason. Maybe I'm just a bit finnicky but compared to their Albatri it's rather lacking. I never expected having to fill pin holes and patch surfaces on wings or sand and reshape wheel discs to remove casting marks etc (I dont meen ejection pin marks either but machined marks in the surfaces. So I'd more than welcome a WNW version personally as long as it isnt replica based.

Certainly agree with all the foregoing. I've viewed the comments and progress here and had purchased it mainly for the subject. I'm a great fan of Collishaw and intended the Roden kit for a 2 gun Black Maria however step one being make the fuselage longer etc. etc. had me somewhat disappointed. The WNW arrival will be a great day; I figured there was a reasonable chance given they came out with that supurb little Pup. Now, when can I get to that little beauty. Soon along with a few others I hope as my good Wife has been raising her eyebrows of late at the stark contrast between what arrives parcel post and that which flows off the work desk!

A D.XII you say.Better make that at least an even half dozen that are on the potentials list. My story is (to quote an earlier comment herein) "Kits Happen"!

Gary,
I think I want to say Thank You for so quickly providing the Link. After viewing the images all I can say is "WOW!!" as well. This is going to prove to be a significant challenge.........decisions ..........decisions...........decisions. The only sure thing for me right now is I am at seven new "must haves". A Tripe and a Snipe, can't get much better then that! (I am doing a tactical look away at the fact that the DVII will undoubtedly have an eventual several versions, thus seven is a conservative gouge at best.)

Cheers, (as he checks his wallet again)

# 611 Nieuport 24 bis in 1/32 scale Nieuport 24bis – French fighter of the WWI period, developed by Gustave Delage from its predecessor Nieuport 24. Planes of this type had the tail assembly of an earlier configuration, previous to the one which was employed by the Nieuport 24. The type appeared in the middle of 1917, when most of the Nieuports were being replaced by the modern SPAD fighter which is why it had only limited combat use. Apart from France, the Nieuport 24bis was flown by the U.S., Britain, and in Soviet Russia and in Poland. The famous French ace Charles Nungesser flew a Nieuport 24bis in combat.
