A month ago, Ivica Aranza, great man and kitmaker died with the airbrush in his hand .That dear man always short of money .his masterpieces worked from cheap and short run kits . For this reason, I will try to work this Smer .

It looks a little rough

Dani,
I'm looking forward to seeing you turn a sows ear to silk purse.I love it when a modeler takes an old kit like this Smer Ansaldo of yours and works it into a Masterpiece.

Sorry to hear about your friend. These kits have potential, at least the airfoil section is extremely thin on this one. No sanding away unwanted thickness.
Good luck,

Dani,
Here's a link you will find of interest build your Smer Ansaldo. The project depicted in the link is by Davide Splendore who has quite talent the for reworking old kits into Masterpieces. Sorry I forgot to mention the loss of your friend before. No doubt you'll have a finished project you both will be proud of.I'd enjoy seeing his work is there a link to it?

Gregory Jouette

Hi Dani:
This is going to be interesting to see you build this thing. I went to the website that Greg referenced and it really turned out neat. Sorry to read about your friends passing, but apparently he died doing something he loved.
Take care
Mark

Thanks friends for support and link.A some interesting solutions there.
I have worked on the cockpit and drilled holes for the exhaust

Interestingly solved connection between the wings and fuselage on kit , solid but wrong. fuselage is simply the wrong shape. It had to be cut

Different wing shape

When is saw already in hand way not to cuting

Hard to tell without a scale reference however they look suspiciously like a set of floats for one of the floatplane versions. I have three photos that show two differant styles of floats.
Great job...looking forward to more!

Thank you for playing. It was not easy to guess, because this is a rare version, and I did not put anything of compar size.
I decided instead S.V.A. to do hydro version ( ISVA)
Mario is right, this will be the floaters.
I think this version has none done jet.

thanks once again everyone

Hi Dani, very interesting build you've got going here – the interior looks superb, and the home made pontoons really turned out well!
Looking forward to the continuation
Best Regards
Mikael
