Hello Dani:
This is really coming along nicely. I like the floats, the wood grain is convincing, and the work you have put into it is paying off as you near the finish.
Best
Mark

Dani,
The woodgrain is really good, much better then my first try. What technique did you use?
Your Pre-shading worked really nicely as well. Bet you enjoyed the taping as much as I did on my Albie?!?
Looks like a beautiful result is on the way; you are doing exceptionally nice work with a very basic kit.
I look forward to your updates as you progress.
Cheers,
Lance

Thanks for the kind words friends
Wood , the first layer is a mixture of acrylic linen and oker. Then with oils structure of wood .Then clearcoat layer with litle brown as the Ansaldo had dark varnished wood.Diferent wooden panels i painted with difernt different mix of varnish
I more enjoyed taking tape oof, and see result ,If tape removed some of base paint off, Can't Beat the Feeling
I did some more progress
The tail of the aircraft I worked out of some plastic box.On it I glued the copper wire 0.10 mm thick and then spray with looat of putty. Then I sanded, copper is harder then putty, so I got a rib profile,

Hi Danni –this is starting to come together in a grand way. Always liked the fine lines of the Ansaldo, and the Italian markings under wings.
Keep it coming

PS:Boss why I do not have cog by title of topic?
Hi Dani
You should have now. You can tick the "Blog" option when you start a new thread to get the icon. Great build by the way.
All the best

I was not on the forum last days, but I had a good reason. Uh, when Ansaldo was almost finished, one a wrong move and I have broke the construction of floats. When I calmed down, I managed to fix it. . Thank you for your support, helped me a lot, this project is finished.
I hope you like it

Hi Dani,
Gorgeaus little model, I think you've really pulled of an interesting and different build here. It does look especially good with that wonderful backdrop – is that your view from the hobby desk?
Best Regards
Mikael

Dani,
Simply beautiful; you turned a very basic kit into a most impressive model and the float work, prop, and woodgrain showcase your talents wonderfully! Congratulations on such great results and hope to see more of your work soon.
Regards,
Lance

Thanks friends
@ Lance I'm glad you think so. This is my first biplane, and I really struggled over me. It could be more details, but it will took a lot more time and never be finished (I know myself) so I made some compromise. Now I is time for foker e3 to be finished.
@Stephen ,nice to see you around boss
@Mikael That is the view from my balcony, I am lucky to live in one of the most beautiful city in Croatia, my hobby table in the shed

Dani,
Wonderous job. The plywood, the cloth, the brass around the radiator, all very convincing. Mr. Aranza would be proud.
Sooo...when are you going to take it down to the water and see if the floats really work?! That would make a heck of a photo. (Just kidding)
Beautiful view you have there too. That is a great local.
