Sorry to hear about your friend. These kits have potential, at least the airfoil section is extremely thin on this one. No sanding away unwanted thickness.

Interestingly solved connection between the wings and fuselage on kit , solid but wrong. fuselage is simply the wrong shape. It had to be cut

Hard to tell without a scale reference however they look suspiciously like a set of floats for one of the floatplane versions. I have three photos that show two differant styles of floats.

I'm guessing landing gear main struts.

Thank you for playing. It was not easy to guess, because this is a rare version, and I did not put anything of compar size.
I decided instead S.V.A. to do hydro version ( ISVA)
Mario is right, this will be the floaters.
I think this version has none done jet.

I have arranged wings joint




added some things (dont know english name for that) forgotn by smer . Now the fuselage looks more like concrete brick, but probably it should be like that
