Before painting the rudder be sure to shape it as per the instructions.
Normally I would take this opportunity to begin the internal rigging while I have easy access to it but I have promised myself to do this one out of the box.



you may notice that the last two frames are reserved.The bottom of the frame is meant to lie on the top of the jig.The instructions for building the jig leaves a lot to be desired.Nothing is numbered and you have to guess how it all goes together. See Fridays post at 0611 for details.

I had to think about this for awhile but the only way to hold it all together is with the use of pins till the glue dries.

If you screw up something all is not lost ! I exchanged positions of the last two frames by using a wood burner to loosen the glue.A couple of taps with a hammer a she came apart.
