Hi all,
Can anyone just verify whether the Revell 1:48th Albatros DV is a reboxing of Eduards?

Ta Muchly Terri.
Might just get one then, I like the markings on that boxing. I have the old old Eduard one and a couple of DIIIs that I could cobble together a nice build from.
Ta for the quick response.

Here's a review. The windscreen is missing from the kit, and the reviewer doesn't know what a water-cooled Mercedes is.

Definately the 81xx series mold. They missed all of the faults. But they noted that the engine is only an upper half and lacks cooling fins on the cylinders? Yeah Jessica pegged it, they missed the water cooled portion of the description too. The even have the engine photo image and it looks like a typical Eduard generic Mercedes.

I think revell also sells reboxed eduard DR1 and SPAD 13 in 1/48 too.

Thanks for the extra info guys and girls. I'm aware of some of the more glaring issues with the kit, but looking at that review it comes with a choice of two profiles. I might dabble.
