Nifty! I have a copy each of Amodel's Rutan Voyager and Global Flyer that would work for this.

Hi, everyone. Sounds very interesting. I'm thinking about the F4D Skyray. The plane did hold several climb-to-altitude records- even if the Navy did "cheat a bit". And to add to what Jessica wrote: nifty-keen-cool! All the best.

I have several planes that fit those parameters, from Me 262, Ba 349, just to name a few possibilities.

Hmmm, There's an X-1, and X-15 and an SR-71 in the stash. The B-58 even held a few spped records too.

Okay, I'm in. I've got both F4D Tamiya kits. I'm leaning towards the 1/72 version. This should be a very interesting campaign.

Richard is a Bell H-13H considered a Pioneer Thats all I have in the stash at the moment, but if its not I may have to consider getting and SR-71. What time frame were you looking to go for with this as I am signed up for 10 campaigns on the armor side that I haven't started working on yet

I just hope that when school starts in the fall it don't cut to much into my modeling time

You could convert into a Bell 47-B, the first helicopter to be certified for civil operation. There are a couple different shape options:

Thanks Jessica but my scratch building leaves something to be desired. Well I just found this thing that for sure has to qualify as a pioneer

Hey, guys!
Great idea! I'm in! Bell XS-1/X-1A/B/D/E, ER-2, Streak Eagle, П-42... So many possibilities!
Richard, if you include X-15... Yeah, I think we should qualify the things flying between atmosphere and space for this campaign.

Hi Dimitar
Sure we can add X-15 to list.
As long as the aircraft model/pilot is a record holder for one of the following:-
Distance/flight altitude/speed (fast & slow) /duration
It would be great to have a campaign open that includes all aviation interests(see how the other half live/model).

Hi to all!
It looks like we have 9 showing interest, a couple of more post and Admin can give us a OK & "Enlist' box.
There is plenty of time before start date to sort out more details and a ribbon for the campaign.

The old AMT and Lindbergh kits are the only game in town.

Here's an amazing build of the Lindbergh kit.

The modelling communty is in desperate need of a good 1/48 Vega.
