Hi jessica
Yes of course I will build both Ac!
I would hope to build them along with the DH 60 in this campaign if we ever get it going!

I have Fujimi's Alcock and Brown FGR.2 Phantom. I don't think it broke a record, but it retrace the original flight.
Would that qualify?
Would that qualify?

Hi Stephen
RAF Phantom FGR.2 XV486 in Alcock and Brown Anniversary markings would stretch the rules for the campaign!
May be if you add figures of Alcock and Brown standing next to the phantom?

Oh, I think that one of these would be quite appropriate.

Howdy. Well, if Jessica does build both, and with those wingspans, where could she display them? To Jessica: Hope you do at least the Voyager- I've thought about building the kit also. Anyway, looks like this should be a very interesting campaign. All the best.

I'm in, if nothing else I'll build the Wright Flyer I keep threatening. That held records for fastest, highest and longest, probably the last aircraft to do that

Richard, I take you point on the Phantom. Thats why I thought I'd better ask before committing to anything.
Having a look in my stash two that spring to mind are the Matchbox Vickers Wellesley, which has optional parts and markings for a long distance record breaker. I had planned on building it as the standard bomber but I could easily get another.
Secondly is the Heller Saab J21, which I believe was Swedens first indigenously designed fighter and what set Saab on the road to building all those really cool jets.
What are your thoughts on those?

Hi Stephen
Both AC would be good!

Hi Sal
We must restrict the V-2 to the test versions rather than the operational weapon versions. After all, it was a test version that did the pioneering; the weapons just followed along where the test flights already went. Besides, that black and white checkerboard is much more eyecatching.
I would add any space craft as long as it was a proto-type
or record breaker:- ie longest flight.
I hope this helps.

I am thinking of submitting an Ant25, if I can find one. As a stand-by I can build a He 176, Me 262, Bf 109. Let me know if anyone has a Ant 25, thanks.

I am on for this - maybe with a Me 262. I assume that will qualify as both pioneering and record breaking.
