Nigel,
I read the review of this new kit by Airfix and as good as it was you have really done it justice with your work here. Great job!
I know you are going for a speed build and not accuracy but as you know this is Hugh Fraser's Typhoon "Nickey" from 439 RCAF squadron and being a Canadian Typhoon it did not carry Rockets. AFAIK, all Canadian Tiffie squadrons were assigned the task of dive bombing only. Apparently 2 TAF instituted a policy of having squadrons dedicated to either bombing or rocketing their targets. Only the Brit Tiffie squadrons used rockets.
Beautiful build though.

Nice one Nige, I look forward to seeing this at Telford
No I haven't started an Airfix Tiger moth! But I have nearly finished my Airfix 1/72 Spitfire Mk1, I should be posting pics tomorrow
I see that you didn't bother with the fill bands on those rockets
Interesting that rocket/bomb usage was decided by nationality? Or was that coincidence?

Some British Squadrons were also assigned to bombing only duty as well but 2 TAF had all Canadian squadrons assigned as mentioned.
