Sea Plane Campaign.
To hon'our those brave pilots who flew from Sea,Rivers and Lakes and land on water at times in questionable conditions.
Rescue,Marine Patrol and passenger travel of the golden age.
Bush pilots who flew from and landed on lakes barley big enough to clear the shore or the trees!
Any Era,Any Scale,Civil or Military,Jet or Prop.
Helicopters will be allowed as long as Pontoons/Floats are attached.
Looking forward to feed back!

No flying boats in my collection, yet. I would press the enlist button.

Has the new Sunderland and the old Airfix one. Thinks I will take a run with the Italeri, though

Very interesting campaign subject. The time frame is all important to me as I've already have commitments through July: Grumman campaign of next year.
Would love to do one of the lesser known Grumman types.

Of all the campaigns in the cue this is one I'd love to get to soonest. I've collected quite a few Japanese float plane kits and have been itching for some time to do one. You can definitely count me in!
Cheers,

I'm so in! I've got float planes galore! LOL now if i can just figure out what to build?? LOL I even have a vac formed Short singapore in 1/72 as the RNZAF used them till they got Sunderlands, see this link
http://www.network54.com/Forum/149674/message/1261739317/RNZAF+Short+Singapore+III although I have a 1/48 scale Catalina PBY5 that also cries out to be done as an RNZAF beast. LOL Or there a number of italian flying boats in the stash that I just love the lines of! Decisions decisions!
