With less then 12 hours to go She's completed. Thanks Mikael, coming from a Modeller of your skills that's a wonderful compliment!
The completion was reasonably smooth, just a lot of pre-built components to add on and of course the rigging and final weathering.
I've taken 15 quick photos to end this Thread; I'll try for better ones later and post them to the KotS Gallery along with some of these. My friendly engraver came through with a plaque for the display base, unfortunately it was one of his last orders as he has closed his business and is moving away. The Shop will re-open as a book store in the new year, another challenge!
So here she is, a Build too fast for my liking however I did want to contribute to the campaign.
As an intro, the brass plaque:
And now the remainder of the "montage" in no particular order:
All in all a very fine Kit well up to WNW's great standards. I don't feel I did it justice, too many errors and a few things I'd do differently in hindsight. I may order another as the Sopwith Tripe is a favorite of mine and the schemes are seemingly limitless. The loose flying wire I noticed in the photos is already cured with the "hot metal" method, her other "warts" will serve as inspiration to do better next time.
The KotS Builds are very enjoyable, nice to see the participation and view the spectacular Builds stimulated by the Group. I'm looking forward to another or similar event soon!
Stephen, I guess you can un-pin this Thread as She is now officially in service!
Cheers,
Lance

Very nice build.
When I'm finished with the rust & crap campaign, next project will be planes. Got already 3pcs. on the shelf waiting.
These builds inspire.
Regards,
Robert Jan

Superb work. I would not like to tackle this in a speed build like you did!
Looking forward to seeing more of the same.

Mikael and Stephen,
Thanks for your generous comments. Stephen, hopefully there won't be any more repeats of the fast paced Build "thing" in the future, I prefer a much slower schedule!
Cheers,
Lance
