This is not a kit that I could recommend for beginners.
In my opinion the Model Airways Jenny is still the best on the market for a multi media kit of this type. The plans are clear and the building method is step-by-step unlike the Fokker that assumes some prior knowledge on the part of the builder.

When building the Fokker fuselage I ventured far afield from the original model. With the wings I will attempt to build them pretty much "out of the box."
The instruction booklet that comes with the kit is not very clear on methodology.I much prefer the older style with clear illustrations and drawings in a logical order.
As a first step I would recommend sealing the laser cut wood parts with a spray lacquer or thinned brush coat.Do not remove the laser cut parts until dry.Sealing the wood now will ensure against glue marks on the finished piece. Some parts like the leading edges that require bending to shape can wait until the forming is completed.
Before removing the laser cut wing ribs it is a good idea to glue on the rib stiffeners as well.

I fortunately have lots of options about how much detail that I want to put into this piece. The essentials required by the storyline are centered around the upper wing aileron area, how much of the rest of the airplane to build is mostly optional depending on how much time I have to put into it.
