Started this in December 2010, but life had a hiccup so it was boxed up and lost in a shelf or box until now. I think it is time to continue until finished: What it looks like today:

Bob,
Better later then never. You're a much braver man then I. I've never had the fortitude to even attempt a vacuum form kit. Honestly, still don't. Will be following your build with much interest.

Joel, thanks for your kindness and fortitude comes with just jumping in and the heck with I fail we only learn from failure not success. So grabb a cheap vac kit and just have fun, forget detail, scale this or that and enjoy the build use it as therapy I do and though I state that I am crazy. I really am not because the hobby keeps me out of trouble and from going crazy, its like sitting an eazy chair all comfortable and warm no phone, tv, doorbells, or that noisy traffic. A vac is just another airplane in a different wrapper. I hope my slow progressive build will give you something to enjoy.

A half built vac kit impresses and frightens most modellers. A completed vac kit is just another model

Joel, check out the Vac Attack campaign thread from a couple of years ago. It's pretty much a tutorial of everything you need to know to build a vac kit. They're really not as intimidating as you may think.

Bob,
One day soon I'll take the plunge. There are just so many models I'm dieing to build, and so little time to build them. Heck, my wife says I semi retired to just spend more time at my workbench. She just may be right

Jessie's statements are correct and Joel your statement of little time should be our only deriding factor in anything.

Thanks Jessie for the link, I had a hard time finding it since I could not remember the campaigns name.

Jessica,
Thanks, will do.
Doesn't take much to intimidate a old person.
