Hi everyone
It is my sad task to announce that Stephen Lawson has decided to step down from his role fronting our Early Aviation community. The work that Stephen has put in to build interest in WW1 and Golden Age modelling on Aeroscale is simply phenomenal - and the results equally so. From a scattering of posts on the original Armorama, we've reached a point where some folks have gained the mistaken impression that we are a "WW1 site"! Truly an incredible achievement.
As you can imagine, a workaholic like Stephen won't be idle, and he's taking on an increased role at the Lafayette Foundation and the Vintage Aero Flying Museum. Their gain will very much be our loss.
Stephen, thank you for the enormous contribution you've made to Aeroscale - you are leaving some very large shoes for someone to fill!
Everyone, I know you'll join me in wishing Stephen every success in whatever the future holds for him.
All the best
Rowan

Good news for Stephen, not so much for us. Thanks, Stephen, for all great work you've done here! Good luck in your future endeavors and don't be a stranger!

Stephen, I wish you all the best for your role at the Lafayette Foundation and the Vintage Aero Flying Museum. I hope that we will see you on Aeroscale from time to time and that the site will continue to benefit from your expertise, even if less regularly...

Stephen,
Man, my sincere appreciation for your role in this site, for your guidance, your knowledge and background, and your friendship. You will be missed although I am certain you will not disappear.

Thankyou Stephen for all your hardwork and dedication over the years.
Without yourself the early Aviation forum would still be a bit on the side and not the valued part of Aeroscale that it is now.
Good luck with all your future endeavours.

Hi...!
I'm not a very spruce & linen builder, but I like the subject matter...!
I learn a lot from this site, and the classic "Knights of the Sky GB"... I hope somebody re-edit the Campaign, some day...
Thanks for all, Sir..!
And all the best...
Diego

Thank you for all your work and effort. You made early aviation a learning experience that has been very enjoyable. Just the "who am I" quizzes has had me all over the internet learning about pilots and planes.

I'd also like to wish Stephen the best. You have been an enormous inspiration to a lot of modelers here, myself included. I doubt I would have gotten back onto early aviation subjects if it were not for your topics in the forums.
Thanks and good luck.

Stephen,
Thank you for your service to Aeroscale in making the WW1 and Golden Age forum what it is today. I certainly hope that you will still remain a active member of our community.
