Ouch! That sucks Michael, anyway of rectifying the internal structure to permit a better fit? Or shaving something down?

Slow progress, this is the status of my CO3.

Dear all,
I've just found this campaign, and realized I have something I can nominate... Flyhawk VK.18.01 early version in 1/72. I hope it's acceptable.

Looks good, Andreas. Nice details for such a small kit.

Michael
Thank you; it's an amazing kit. (The review will be published soon; the Late version is out right now.)
It was published a couple of months ago. Flyhawk sent it to me for reviewing, and I thought it'd be perfect for this campaign
Here's the finished tank
And the three Flyhawk German mini-tanks together

Looks really nice. But the campaign is based on kits released within the last six months. So my question is: was this kit released by the manufacturer within the last six months?

I am aware of that; I have read the description. And to my knowledge, it has only been released a couple of months ago. (I got it before it was released in August.)

No worries; it started to bother me that I was not exactly sure myself; "small" details that can drive you up the wall... The Flyhawk website did put my mind to ease. So yeah; it qualifies, fortunately, and moreover I'm finished because I had to do the review ASAP. There is a complete build sequence in the review; but if you're interested and cannot wait, it's on my blog as well.

Hi guys,
Life got in the way and I was unable to post anything until now, heck, I have been unable to work much on this one due to other obligations! Now it's the final rush to finish it before January 1st...
Here she is now, the running gear is completed at 90% including weathering (protected with aluminum foil) and I have applied the base sand color. The next step is the future coat, then the hairspray for the chipping of the camo color, the brown camouflage will follow with the chips.
Hopefully I'll be able to finish it...
Cheers,
Christian

Just enlist and I'll build a mechas for the campaign, Kotobukiya 1/72 CO3 Malicious.
Hi Lap,
After seeing what you did in the Ma.K. campaign, I can't wait to see what you will do to this gem!
Got a few of those kits myself (some dating to the first series!) but they do have a lot of parts!
Cheers,
Christian

AeroScale lists our campaigns under the AeroScale header. That may have been the confusion. Glad you found it!

A couple of weeks to go on this one. Sadly, I don't think I'll get the Tiffie done. Figures.
How do you all think this one went? Should we do a Hot Out of the Molds II?

Hello guys,
I am proud to say that I was able to finish my build for this campaign. At the start of December, I thought I had way too much stuff to do on it to be able to finish on time, but what do you know, I did finish it!
Overall, it was a great kit to build and I am looking forward to build the Meng kits I have in my stash! I'd like to thank Olivier Garneau for his invaluable information that allowed me to fix issues on my build before it was too late! :-)
Here are some pictures of it (and I think the last painted details were not even dry when I took those pictures!):
I have also uploaded the mandatory pictures in the Gallery as well.
If you want to see more pictures, I have a few more on my Photobucket page!
Cheers, and see you for the 2016 edition of this campaign!
