Thanks Gary, hopefully my decal woes have been solved.

It might not be as long as I suggested Mike, I actually drew the "Nooky Booky" scrip yesterday, I just need to refine the letter shapes and then add the yellow shadow masks. It will take me a while to write the instruction though as I will do a set specifically for this script, as you are a complete novice at this paint mask lark

.....I wanted to try and emulate the hot metal discolouration on the panel around the exhausts so decided to mottle it with some Tamiya smoke, clear blue and clear red. I know I should have done this before the decalling, but thought that if I seal the decals in with some future, I would be able to mask off this area. Did that, then sprayed on the Tamiya smoke. Went to remove the masking and off came the decals with it.
Along with some of the nose chequers .....

Mike, never, never ever use Tamiya Tape or something like that for masking over decals! Always use Parafilm M. That won't hurt the decal. Good luck for the repairs!

The masks for the "Nooky Booky IV" script are done, I just need to alter the mask surround as I have just realised that it needs to allow for the exhausts. I will do that and post them tomorrow
In the meantime here are the instructions for you to get your head around. These are low res but I can send you a copy via email so that you can print it off and prepare
A copy will be in with the masks

Mike,
That sucks for sure. Believe me I know 1st hand how inconvenient that can be.

I've been sending my very close friend her paycheck from my store in NY to her store in South Carolina for months since she moved. (The company with it's complex HR programs has major issues in transferring personal one from state to another). I've been sending it at my own expense Priority mail for $7 every other week. We switched to just 1st class mail, and the 2nd check got lost. So we went back to priority mail as you just can't trust the USP. Funny how they never seam to loose any of my bills.

Yes it sucks big time! I have only had issues with mail to Brazil and Italy in the past and I have sent masks to some obscure places and they have arrived. Sending stuff "tracked" is a waste of time as the PO only tracks to the UK boarder, and "signed for" is expensive!

Anyway Mike, I will cut them today and get them in the post. It would have been yesterday but I was having problems with my cutting program!

Finally got round to using the masks that Mal Mayfield cut for me. (My excuse for non-modelling has been starting a new job).
Following the instructions, I weeded out all the excess parts of the first mask and positioned in place. ai sprayed the first colour (red), before removing the mask, but leaving the positioning box in place.

I then placed the second mask carefully inside the positioning box and sprayed the second colour (yellow).
Removed the mask and voila, my Mustang had a name again.

The masks were easy to use, with a little care and patience and I love the end result. Will definitely be using these again. Thanks again Mal!
